Academic Counseling

Studies indicate that academic counseling increases a student’s chances of successfully continuing their education. We provide individual academic counseling for students and parents to discuss their academic difficulties and learn strategies to help them become better students. Issues addressed might include:

• Proper School Setting
• Poor Grades
• Test Anxiety
• Learning Disabilities
• Academic Rights
• Writing Support
• Study Skills

Transitions from one learning setting to another often reveal academic needs. While we do not have the facilities to diagnose Learning Disabilities, we can provide a Learning Disability Screening, which can provide helpful information - including whether a full evaluation would likely be helpful. We can also help with the referral process.
